System Manager – Strategic Planning

Hospital Sisters Health System

My name is Andy Reutiman and I was born in Minnesota but grew up in Highland, IL. I completed my undergrad in Business Administration at the University of IL Springfield (UIS) where I played collegiate soccer. I started out my career as a banker and quickly realized that was not for me. I went back to UIS and earned my master’s degree in management information systems through a program called Graduate Public Service Internship. During that time, I started working at H.D. Smith as a Demand Planner in supply chain. They were acquired by AmerisourceBergen after being there for 18 months, and I found a role with HSHS as a System Senior Strategy Analyst. I worked in System Strategy for about 4 years and then moved to SIU Medicine as the Finance and Data Manager. In my short 7ish months with SIU, I helped them develop SIU’s KPIs and standardization metrics under the Chief Operating Officer. After that I came back to HSHS for the IL Division and worked as a Strategy Consultant before moving into my current position as System Manager for Strategic Planning.

Outside of work I get kept busy by my household of girls. My wife Haley and I currently have two with one on the way, expected in June. Emma is almost 4, Charlotte (Charlee) is 1.5 and Lola our long haired chihuahua is 10. When I do find time to myself, I enjoy cycling/mountain biking, watching movies, eating and trying new foods, wood working, playing bocce ball, exercising, golfing very poorly, traveling when we find time or anything else outdoors. I’m an avid sport lover and cheer for the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, St. Louis City SC and Minnesota Vikings.
