Director at Large Brandon Hedspeth Manager Quality and Safety OSF HealthCare Heart of Mary Medical Center
Brandon joined OSF in 2018 during the acquisition of Presence Health Covenant Medical Center. His current position is Manager Quality and Safety of OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center and OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center. Prior to that, he served as the Patient Care Manager of the Behavioral Health and Inpatient Physical Rehab Units from 2016-2019 leading his team through the transition from Presence Health to OSF. His prior experience includes Cardiothoracic Surgery Circulator, Bed Management, Patient Safety Specialist, Float Pool, and Cardiac Step-down. He also an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, where he serves on the planning committee of the local chapter. He is a certified Real Colors Facilitator and Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS).
Brandon graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Art in English Studies from Illinois State University, his Master for Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University, and his Doctor of Nursing Practice from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville. He is married to his wife, Elsie, and they have a 4-year-old daughter, Tennison. Brandon enjoys spending time with his family; watching college basketball, which he is a fan of Marquette University; rock climbing; running; and volunteering. |
